Haworthiopsis coarctata f. baccata: Old variety that grows into a tall stack of upright leaves. The green leaves are textured with lots of white bumps. This South African native plant often grows partially shaded in shrubland.

It tolerates low light conditions well, but when exposed to full sun it can show red to copper stress colors.

  • Haworthia are able to tolerate low, indoor light.
  • They are particularly easy to grow.
  • Strong, drought-tolerant roots will grow.

This genus tolerates high heat by slowing down and eventually going dormant in the peak of summer. This means that, unlike other succulents, it is important not to over-water or fertilize during summer dormancy and water a bit more frequently in the winter growing season.

Haworthia are slow growers and tend to stay small in pots, but they will produce new offsets in clumps around their bases. These offsets can be left to develop into a dense clump or pulled off and transplanted.

Recommended Light Conditions Low Indoor Light, Filtered / Partial Sun
Maximum Height 3"-5"
Growth Habit / Shape Loose Rosette, Clumping / Mounding

I would buy this theme again just for the customer support! They have been very helpful on answering all my questions and very quickly, usually less than 24 hours!
